I can't say enough good things about Allison Mullins and the staff here! Even though they couldn't accept me as a patient themselves, they went out of their way to find a place that could. They had no responsibility to do that for me. Mrs. Mullins made calls and her staff communicated with me until I felt secure in what I needed to do for my health and my family. I had to “voluntarily” sign myself into the thrive center and was not allowed to leave until three days later, even though it was making everything worse, but when I would explain that, it didn’t matter. The only way they would release me was after I agreed to take medication and tell my parents even though I am an adult, and my parents live 100+ miles away and knew nothing about my situation. This was probably the worst experience of my life, and anytime I think about it, I want to burst into tears.
