Yesterday, I visited the Emergency Room due to back pain and was treated by Dr. Andrade Vicentry Laureano, MD. Unfortunately, I found Dr. Laureano to be impolite and dismissive of my concerns, refusing treatment and not fully listening to my symptoms. I requested X-rays to ensure an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment plan. After the results were in, Dr. Laureano acknowledged that my request was justified. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Dr. Laureano to others.
The ER is deplorable. They contact doctors remotely. You may not see a physician. Health care is absent. Don’t go there!
The Er staff was amazing and fast with my baby that had a head injury.
Came in with extreme back pain, no x ray, shot of toradal and 10 muscle relaxers. Turns out to be a slipped disc. Always count on baptist la grange to screw up in the ER!
Last night I had my third bad experience here and I can’t wait to never go back and tell everyone I know what a terrible place this is. They clearly are not trained to have bedside manner to treat children. The doctor that was on the night of 1/1/25 grabbed my son by the chin and stuck the tongue compressor in his mouth until he gagged. The nurse scratched up his hand trying to aggressively get a nose swab. They completely dismiss all concerns and try to make the patient (or patient’s parent, in this case) feel like an idiot... read more
