The staff was beyond excellent. Loved every person I spoke with. So helpful and informative especially as a first time mom. However, the room conditions are terrible. My bed creaked so loud when reclining it made me nervous to lay on and the room was so hot my partner and I couldn’t stop sweating for the full 3 days I was there. It was miserable and I developed a heat rash that lasted weeks after going home making my recovery incredibly uncomfortable. The Nurses and Doctors went above and beyond when I went to deliver my baby! I had a horrible birth experience in the past with another hospital, and I can't say enough how much better this experience was! The nurses were so kind and caring and took time to understand my anxieties and fears and help me with them. It was a very positive experience!

I am currently a patient with my first son and I cannot say this enough... I am SO grateful for Baptist Floyd's labor and delivery teams and nurses. They have been nothing but amazing, caring, informative, supportive, uplifting, and just perfect in general. They have eased my mind so many times on so many things. They've just been exceptional.
