No respect for you or your time. Staff acts like because they have to work there you have all day to wait on them. Very uncomfortable place-should have a couch to lay down on to elevate feet or rooms with beds for patients who cannot sit for hours waiting on them. No respect for anyone handicapped. Like to repeat lab tests & diagnostic procedures to milk your insurance company continually-over half of it unneccesary. Quackery. Wasted my sister's life for over a year making guarentees about her health that were not possible, hours/days wasted while they scheduled her all kinds of crazy times for procedures and repeat tests that werent doing her any good. Kept a scare on her continually and talked as if they were doing her a favor.
I would not tell anyone to not go to this place. But I would never recommend anyone I know to go but instead find another location or go to another network. The nurses are professional , the staff in the reception area are great, Dr. Anderson and the radiation department are also great. He also has good and caring bedside manner and explained the treatment plan succinctly but well. But there is a major issue with how this place is run. *Update 2026 My Husband received his diagnosis, December 2022. No one is ever really prepared for Cancer. The learning curve looms large and can be overwhelming. But, once you know - you HAVE to be on the ground running… How fortunate we have been - to have such a great team of physicians, nurses and staff taking care of my Husband, at the Baptist Health Floyd Cancer Center/ New Albany. Dr Anderson is great in radiation. Dr Okoke people that schedule are terrible once I go in they had me scheduled at Corydon I had never been seen on Corydon. I had be rescheduled. Today I went in for appointment at 945 I get there they tell me my appointment was for 845. I know this was not true because I scheduled it for later because I couldn’t make 845 she said she changed it to 945 but she didn’t. I show up today I can’t get in till December 10. I have schedule myself off work my time is important I can’t stand this inco... read more
