The last visit I had at Baptist wasn't pleasant because the Physician Assistant put an object that looked like it illuminated at the bottom in my ear and I told her to take it out because it hurt. I didn't say anything when she came into the room because I thought she knew what she was doing.She took the object out and proceeded to leave the room. I had good enough sense to go to the restroom and dab my ear canal and blood came out. That's when I freaked out.
I went in at 5:30pm on Wednesday for hypertensive crisis and chest pain. Went back did ekg and started IV. Sat in lobby being called back 3 more times for blood and X-rays. Never chrome blood pressure again until 3:15 am while still sitting in lobby blood pressure was 212/130 pulse 107. Sat there for another 25 minutes went to the back. Never listened to my heart hook up to a monitor. The good: beautiful hospital, especially when compared to the old one. Hunge nice room with a large TV. All my medical info was on the TV, including who my nurse and doctor on the floor was. I was there for three days. First two nights were pretty good. Nurses kept checking on me, techs were pretty nice. Even the housekeeping supervisor came by my second day. The bad: my last day was awful. No one from housekeeping came by, so there were dirty towels in the bathroom till the evening until a PCT finally got them. When I was g... read more
Been in the waiting room to see the doctor for 13 hours now and still waiting. The triage people come around every 2 hours to take vitals and are rude as all get out if you ask any questions. If you want good medical care in an emergency don’t come here. You would be better off getting treatment from ANYWHERE else.
I came in with a swollen foot around 5pm. It is now 3:35am. I have 2 swollen feet now and charlie horses in my thighs and still haven't seen a doctor. I am not the only one waiting and have watched many people leave to go get help elsewhere. All I want to know is what's wrong and what I should do to help my feet. At this point I should have stayed home with 1 bad foot now I have 2 . Recommend to go anywhere else.
