I had to take my 3 year old to the ER late at night. While there I was asked multiple times how I wanted to take care of my copay of $550. I wasn’t aware I had a copay that high. I had forgotten my wallet and was told I could call when I got home to pay as “they would be here all night”. Finally around 2 in the morning a I got home and had to call and pay over the phone. RecommendedNurse Brandi on the SIPS floor is an Angel. I’ve been suffering through a botched gallbladder removal & she has helped me use the restroom, walk, & sit up. I’ve been in extreme pain & she hasn’t questioned me once or made me feel weak for being in so much pain. She really made a horrible & excruciating experience as comfortable as possible. I wasn’t able to eat or drink due to the possibility of back to back procedures & one thing I remember being adamant about was wanting a Root Beer as soon as I could drink. Most rude older heavyset white receptionist was the most rudest person ever. No privacy, here to get a covid test and there is no privacy! What happened to HIPPA, ahe made me announce to the entire waiting room what I was here for. Rude and very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!
Anything, they cut my bra and shirt in half and offered to let me leave in a paper gown! They should have to pay for my clothes back because they weren’t cheap! Told my husband he had to wait outside and then I had a seizure after telling the dumb girl I had twitching! Then one told nurses they didn’t know how I got there, I came alone. I don’t recommend sending anything here! I feel like taking legal action!
This place has gone downhill since they sold it. I just got lip from a rude staff member that I have never heard before. She is not a doctor and shouldn’t be talking to patients like this, and most definitely not during Covid. It’s employees like this that lower someone’s willingness to get a mammogram and cancer go undetected. They should handle their job with compassion. I’m done with this group.

I was transported by ems the other day for chest pain /discomfort. I had a mask on that was clean and only worn today and was told i could not enter their building unless i put one of THEIR masks on. If I'm not mistaken there is a PPE shortage. I should have listened to those ambulance people when they said that Baptist was a horrible hospital to go to. I will never go there again. They treated me like crap. Took almost 2 hours to get to the cath lab even though my ems and their EKG read that i was having a heart attack. App... read more
