Eddie and Evan Huang are known as creators of the hit TV show 'Fresh Off The Boat", but both brothers are also successful restaurateurs just like their father on the show. This Baohaus is the second incarnation after closing the original in the LES for a larger space. However, the brothers still ply the Taiwanese favorite, Bao stuffed with delectable ingredients. I saw Baohaus on One of Anthony Bourdain's shows. Thought I'd give it a try on an upcoming day trip to NYC. Walked 4.5 miles to get to the shop and back. It was worth EVERY step. Flavor like I've never experienced before. I tried several different items and each was one of the most amazing things I've ever eaten. You can be sure I'll walk on back to the Baohaus next time I hit the city.
Tasty food. Small and chill. Like hip hop music? Fun place to a Taiwanese beer and munchies.
Fucking amazing. Food was bomb. Loved all the stickers on the wall. Music was dope. Definitely going back SOON !
Loved the taro fries, pork belly and chicken Bao. Staff was super friendly! I will come back on my next trip�
