I don’t usually write reviews, but Kristen at Banyan on Washington deserves one. When I was dealing with a stressful situation, she met it with patience, understanding, and a level of genuine care that’s honestly rare to come by. My brother and I were looking for two apartments but were blown off at first by a girl Z. Neither of us expected to hear back after the encounter we had but to our surprise we were reached out to by the manager Kristin and another woman Yam. My brother said Yam was kind and understanding. Being on the call while speaking with the manager, I was pretty surprised at how kind she was. Kristin was really helpful, understanding, kind and listened to what happened. Edit: I wanted to change my initial review for two reasons. First I received a call from Yammy. She was exceptionally kind and wanted to make right by what occurred. Then I received a call from the manager Kristin. She was sweet, took her time to ask questions and apologize repeatedly For what happened. I called right after 4pm today and asked to tour a place because I liked the property. The woman Z said they closed tours for the day. Um why do you say you’re open to 5 then? Me and my brother were both looking for places. I thought Mark Taylor was better than this. You lost 2 apartment rentals. We are going to the other place down the street. Thanks again for nothin

I had serious safety and sanitation concerns while living at Banyan on Washington. The most alarming incident happened when I was inside my apartment and suddenly noticed my front door slowly opening. A man I did not recognize was entering my apartment without knocking or announcing himself. I was terrified and thought someone was breaking into my home. It turned out to be an AC technician, but no notice was given and I had not given permission for anyone to enter my unit. Security in the building was also a major concern. T... read more
