We went there for a birthday dinner. I made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance, but there were plenty of open tables, so I don’t think a reservation is necessary for a weekday dinner. Street parking is available, and I found a spot right next to the restaurant. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy, but there are many other restaurants and bars nearby, and plenty of cars were parked on the street, so I wouldn’t necessarily consider it an unsafe area. We found this place while traveling and visiting Atlanta. The food was some of the best we've ever had. It was worth the price.
Good food, creative cocktails, and excellent service. Banshee was a great dinner, it is a smaller space which i prefer to the more sprawling restaurants like optimist or two urban licks. The vibe is personal and it doesn't feel like you are on restaurant rails like with some of the bigger spots.
