We just had our wedding and reception at the Briarwood and everything was wonderful. The trasition from ceremony to reception was fast and accurate. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They were upfront with all the costs. The food was great and everyone let me know. We went with a package deal that included the cake from Affordable Wedding Creations. It was all perfect! I would gladly have another event there. Maybe an anniversary party.

I had a business meeting at the briarwood. It couldn't have gone any better. The good was great, the staff was awesome. It had all the audio/video equipment I needed and it was affordable. Doesn't get better than that!

I had my daughters 15th birthday, what we call a "Quinceanera" in my culture at the Briarwood Banquet Center. The staff and especially Karen Collins made it imperitive to make the event special for my daughter. She was able to incorporate traditional Mexican cuisine and a whimsical atmosphere for a teenage fiesta. What a treat! The event was a great success and a very memorable event for my family and friends.

Karen and the Briarwood staff had for the past 9 years provided excellent customer service to clients, most specifically event planners, florists and wedding vendors. The Briarwood staff are efficient, friendly and helpful with many business requests as well as personal requirements. Thanks Karen for the great service!!

In February of 2008 we hosted a wedding reception for over 400 people at the Briarwood Banquet Center. From the planning stages to the day of the event the staff was absolutely fantastic. They were extremely accomodating and so professional. They helped to make this event stress free for my daughter and our family. They helped us define every small detail, but were clear it was "her day" and that they would honor and support her wishes in any way possible. I have been using and refering the Briarwood for several years now and have enjoyed the experience. Several of my girlfriends have gotten married here and it was great! Also the Boone County Jaycees, a local non profit young persons group, have had several of their larger banquets here. A 50th Gala and many years we hold our annual Prayer Breakfast for the local clergy. I would reccomend Briarwood for events there and outside catering as well.

I have had the blessing of working with Karen and her staff at The Briarwood on personal and business occasions. The work ethics she and her staff have demonstrated over the years are second to none. From the minute we walked in the door until we finally left for the night everything was just perfect. We will soon be enjoying our second child's wedding reception there this summer and so look forward to it.
