Eight years ago, Dr. Tian looked me dead in the eye and told me my child would never be normal, never ride a bus, never go to school. You didn't just misjudge a diagnosis, Docter Tian, you tried to steal our hope. I hope one day karma makes you face the despair your words caused. And by the way—you were wrong. So painfully, embarrassingly wrong.
I saw Dr. Wilson in June to review some bone spur x-rays from Kaiser I brought with me to the appointment. He gave me a flyer to exercise and sent me on my way, nothing else. He didn't seem too interested in my foot pain. I had another opinion and that doctor ordered an MRI that showed a plantar facilities tear too.
DO NOT GO TO BANNER OCOTILLO During a midnight checking at the Banner Ocotillo Emergency room, the receptionist was both unprofessional and unreasonable. When I arrived at the hospital I checked with the Emergency Room receptionist to see if my spouse had arrived in transport via Ambulance. The receptionist was incredibly rude and barked that I should sit in the waiting room and she would notify me when my spouse arrived. They scheduled me 92 day for a post op appointment so they could charge me my deductible.
I initially went in for a trigger finger release. Hustedt noticed the atrophy in my left Thenar and Hypothenar eminence (also the interossei) and claimed that he could improve that and perhaps regain 60-70% musculature back. He stated, " Oh! we don't want that to get any worse!" Even though I had full hand function I informed him that the Ulnar nerve injury was 16 years old and that you would never get that muscle back due to it being neurogenic and so much scar tissue over a 16 year period (yes 16 yrs not 6). My daughter just had her second baby at this hospital and we all agree that the service she got was great! Her first baby was born in another hospital and town close by that was a huge disappointment to say the least. A shout out to everyone in labor and delivery! From the nurses to lactation consultants, doctors. Everyone was so kind. Thank you all for making this experience such a good one. They even made this grandma feel respected!
I would give zero stars if I could. I started seeing Dr.Murthy after I turned 18. He wanted to see me in 6 months, and I made an appointment for 6 months. Since then, I have been rescheduled 7 times, and this last reschedule was my breaking point. My experience at Banner was an absolute nightmare that I will not ever recover from. I wouldn't wish what I endured from this hospital on anyone. I went in because I was miscarrying my baby. It was my fourth pregnancy and I had known for weeks I was expecting. My belly had already grown and yet, I was told from your nurses that "I wasn't actually pregnant.
