. during one visit at Banner for thyroid meds, I got a visit from an integrated medicine specialist who asked me if I had considered why my thyroid would be low and what I might do to find the root cause. . all I could think of was that I was too stressed by anxiety and negative thoughts and I didn't see how to reduce the stress. . but I kept wondering how to cure low thyroid and eventually I heard that my iodine supplements were driving up my thyroid's TSH levels which made it look like I was short on T4 or T3 or making too... read more

Do not go to Alvernon primary care. My last appointment ended with the doctors saying " we've spent too much time on this appointment" AND worse is one doctor said take aspirin or ibuprofen EXCEPT I have an NSAID allergy. Have not taken NSAIDs since age 15 when it landed me in the hospital with a 104 degree temp, rash, and vomiting. The doctor and her attending did not bother to listen to me or symptom history, instead came up with their own scenario and dismissed me.
