Went in for a routine service here. Got home to a rattling sound. Popped the hood to find their tools loose in my hood. Had also asked them to check my engine air filter, and found the air intake( which sits in front of the filter cover), completely unfastened - 3 missing screws and one ripped broken. Filter cover unclamped. At this point I was left wondering what else did they miss with the other services I got them to do. Quite the disappointing experience.
This was my 1st visit at Anderson Honda for service and was a pleasant experience. Was greeted by Sammy and he help me have my vehicle serviced. I appreciated being updated of my vehicle status even more being told when it would be finished. 5 stars for Anderson Honda and Sammy.
Service advisor Diego is always very helpful, friendly, and keeps me well informed of my car situation what needs to be done or any issues after the inspection to get my approval to proceed with the repairs or not. He is knowledgeable when I have a question regarding my car. They provide an excellent service and I will definitely recommend Honda Anderson for any car maintenance. I get coupons in the mail to help reduce the costs.
When I made the appointment for recall service I specifically mentioned another issue that had a TSB out. They said they could take care of both. On the day I arrived they said actually the TSB required a part that would take weeks to order and cost >$200 (to apply grease to fix a squeaky driver’s seat). I also asked about a noise I worried was suspension. The agent insisted on driving to recreate (not letting me drive). I told him you could only hear it at low speed. I got my oil changed at Anderson Honda last weekend. Their prices are reasonable (for the Bay Area), service is quick, and everyone I worked with was friendly and low pressure. They didn’t push any unnecessary services or maintenance. While you’re there, enjoy the free coffee or go for a walk along the bay. I had the complete opposite experience at another dealership in San Jose. I waited 6 hours for a simple oil change at twice the price. Afterwards they asked for a 5 star review. The audacity!
