Absolutely fantastic. Called regarding an issue with a scorpion sting. They were both informative on how to best cope, and also compassionate. They even scheduled a call back later in the day to see how things were progressing.

I'll agree that it is wonderful to have this service available. And most of the information provided was helpful after my 2-year-old was stung by a scorpion. However, they told me to go to the nearest Pediatric ER, which was Banner Desert (go figure, it is Banner Poison Control Center...). They do not have the antevenom necessary to stop the neurotoxin from spreading ... they are only able to treat the symptoms, which in my sons case meant shots of adovan (sp?) and morphine. I found the information given to be very helpful. My 2 year old swallowed half an ibuprofen found on the floor. It wasn't a big deal, but it was nice to have someone to let me know what to look for and what to do for the next couple of hours. They were very nice as well.
