My mom just had to pay quite a bit of money to have my LIFETIME Putnam County resident grandfather's obituary ran in this paper. Now, for any of us that were smart enough to get out of Putnam County, can't access it for less than $23. Great business protocol there. Genius. It's no wonder this company is going broke.

I pay money and get the news- It’s just like back in the day when you paid for an actual newspaper. Pay money get a service not a hard concept for the complainers amongst us.
I'm not going to pay for a monthly subscription to read the maybe two articles that I would be interested in reading in a span of three months. I'll just wait for someone to copy and paste, or screenshot, what I want to see.

Hiding information from the public behind a subscription paywall for a poorly written paper in a small town you realize there are a lot of us out there who will never subscribe and never read again just in answer to the audacity of you charging money for a tidbit of information that rarely applies to anyone. I'm not paying you a monthly fee to read 2 lines of text per month that interest because the rest of your paper is generally boring, uninteresting, and not worth reading.
No point of subscribing when all they have are click bait ads they also make money off of. I’ll find my news elsewhere
