I am surprised on how many poor reviews Banner Desert Surgery has received, my experience was totally different. I was there yesterday for a procedure and I was most impressed from the time I checked in to when I was released. The nursing staff was outstanding, Tommy, Lisa, Brittney and others(I have missed) where terrific. My anesthesiologist, from NY, was great and explained what I could expect from the anesthesia and my Doctor, Hekmat Hakiman is a true professional. Blessed to have had such a caring group to take care of... read more

WATCH Out for this Dr! He "pads" his bills! I was in a Rehab center - he stuck his head in the door- only a "few" times - to ask how my pain was- Never laid a finger on me! He billed me up the Nose with bogus dates! Sent me bills totaling hundreds$$ - for Doing Nothing! And that was after he billed Medicare too ! He's a rip-off!

I needed to find a new doctor because my amazing obgyn office was no longer accepting BCBS insurance. I decided to try Banner, horrible experience. First, they are huge. You will never see the same doctor. I went to Genesis because I was high risk and needed a MFM doctor. Banner supposedly has a great one, but the gate keepers at the front desk won’t let you see her unless she deems you worthy. Second, I ended up having a late 1st trimester miscarriage. Found out when I was in my second ultrasound. MFM doctor deemed me wo... read more

I went to the ER because my BP was 162/109 and at 69 YO I have some Aortic Calcification which is a risky combo. I waited for two hours while younger, healthier people who arrived well after I did are led into treatment rooms. The general attitude is who cares. They all smile and blow you off. This disrespectful and dangerous attitude only serves to raise my BP more. The result is that I will have to go to another town south of Lovelnd to get quality treatment.

I've been waiting in the ER for over 24 hours with chest pain. Still haven't seen a Doctor. Staff is extremely rude and uncaring. I should have read the reviews before I came here. Apparently I'm not the the only one with this experience. I won't be back!

The worst wait time ever! Horrible! I came in for a UTI and the triage nurse had me give a urine sample when I got there. Almost 4 hours later I was taken to a bay in the back and had to give yet another urine sample because my previous one was "lost"! Well the nurse actually may have found it up at the front, but it had no label on it so they must have not known who it belonged to and left it there! I was shocked! Their restrooms were worse than a gas station! Disgusting ! So bad especially for a Healthcare setting! It was ... read more

First off let me say I'm 81 and have had my share of physical therapy sessions. This last round I had the very good fortune of having Vince Diaz at 20045 N 19th assigned to me. I would have to rate Vince as the best therapist I've had. He listens, adjusts the session to how I'm responding and most importantly explains why he is doing what he is doing in a way I could understand it. Vince thank you.

Dr. Peter Ott has treated me since I became ill with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and Congestive Heart Failure in 2005. I received my first AICD (pacemaker/defibrillator) one year later and have remained 100% paced since. Dr. Ott has changed the device 3 times and performed surgery to remove a defective lead from my heart. I have since been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. It took months to get it under control but Dr. Ott never gave up. There have been many times that my cardiologists (I have 2 others) and PCP did not th... read more
