If you are a walk-in, just walk around and complain and drive the staff and patients crazy. Doesn’t matter if you had an appointment or not…you’ll get treated right away! First hand experience!

I recorded the nurses in the ER talking about me while I was in a bed in a hallway. My nurse seemed to withhold meds simply because they felt like it, gotta teach me a lesson, gotta show me their power! One nurses asked who got stuck with me at shift change, Caitlyn, Caitlyn got stuck with me. Their aides stole supplies that my father's insurance paid for! I tried a few times to contact Banner Hospice directly to resolve the issue. But I was ignored.

I was assigned to Kerry Amstutz as my PCP. On my first visit I mentioned having to urinate frequently. When I checked out they gave me a referral for an ultrasound even though the doctor never told me what they would learn from it. My return to Dr. Amstutz a year later for a wellness check up wasn't any better. I got my bloodwork papers on line and the cover page stated high cholesterol, recommending a statin and specifically said my PSA was "normal". I am surprised on how many poor reviews Banner Desert Surgery has received, my experience was totally different. I was there yesterday for a procedure and I was most impressed from the time I checked in to when I was released. The nursing staff was outstanding, Tommy, Lisa, Brittney and others(I have missed) where terrific. My anesthesiologist, from NY, was great and explained what I could expect from the anesthesia and my Doctor, Hekmat Hakiman is a true professional. WATCH Out for this Dr! He "pads" his bills! I was in a Rehab center - he stuck his head in the door- only a "few" times - to ask how my pain was- Never laid a finger on me! He billed me up the Nose with bogus dates! Sent me bills totaling hundreds$$ - for Doing Nothing! And that was after he billed Medicare too ! He's a rip-off!
