I would advise as a medical professional myself to beware of the 43rd Avenue and Bell Road urgent care. My son clearly put he could not take pills in his record and a pill prescription was prescribed. When he asked about liquid form he was told that prescription could not be put into liquid form which was not correct. This makes me question the providers ability to correctly prescribe medications and we would like this looked into. I knew it was possible but we googled it as well. I recently visited Banner Urgent Care at Crismon and Southern in Mesa because I was experiencing severe congestion, a worsening cough, and fatigue. The clinic was well organized and the staff was very attentive. Dr. Miranda was extremely thorough in her examination. After reviewing my chest X-ray more closely, she identified the early stages of bronchial pneumonia that could easily have been missed. This was my HORRIBLE experience at Banner Health “Desert Medical Center”! I went to Banner on Southern and Ironwood early morning as I was feeling bad the day scheduled for surgery. They did not do much for me as I was not doing bad by their opinion. Well, the other problem came up when they decided to transfer me to Desert Medical where I was scheduled for surgery on this day before Thanksgiving. Some nurses attitudes towards patients is unprofessional, the doctors are great, but the talking down to patients is unacceptable. I was admitted a week ago, put in a room with a gentleman that pisses and shits all over himself. Hes high maintenance, sometimes needing all nurses (4) at a time. That pulls all medical help feom other clients. How is that fair? Doesnt he need to be but in a higher care area? Ive lived on 2 hours a sleep a night now for 8 days.
