I was here 3/2 weeks ago and it was really great here I got alot of help here but I didn't like how the staff didn't help out when there was about to be a fight happening and I didn't like that and I'm only 14 years old but the great thing about is that you get to have a roommate and that is really good to but just watch out about the staff they barely help out but overall it was pretty good there

I am absolutely furious. I had a teenager at this facility recently, and our family, as well as my daughter were told that she would be going residential, and next she will be going home and it was a back-and-forth game with everybody being confused. One day prior, we were all told she would go residential and the next morning I was told to pick her up immediately because of insurance. I have been in many behavior health hospitals but this one is by far the best! I don't particularly like the groups, they seem to be focused primarily on addiction and that doesn't apply to me. Putting that aside I learn quite a bit there including yoga. That was a lot of fun! I also have the opportunity to actually work with the staff to come up with a plan that will work for me. It has been a wonderful experience and I plan on going back if it's needed in the future.

I wish I could give this facility zero stars. My sister was admitted here in November 2024 after a suicide attempt. Just three months later, she made another attempt and succeeded. We are completely shattered. While I understand that Banner Health Behavioral Hospital is not directly responsible for her death—that was ultimately her decision, and we’ve struggled deeply with our own feelings of guilt—I do believe this facility failed her in critical ways.
