I had one of the worst and most distressing experiences of my life at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. I arrived at the hospital by ambulance because I was in severe pain and had serious back issues involving L2, L3 and L4 disc herniations. Despite arriving by ambulance and being unable to walk properly, staff initially wanted me to get off the stretcher and sit on a chair in the waiting room.
