What a phenomenal place in my neighborhood! I brought my car in due to a check engine light and I was immediately taken care of that same day! Everything was explained to me and honestly overall fabulous experience. Highly recommend to anyone. I will absolutely go back- and almost am happy to have car troubles so I can do so!! (Knock on wood )

I went here due to my car stalling but since there was no check engine light it was hard to diagnose what the exact issue was but they still took it for a drive and took a look under the hood. They did find a tear in my air intake tube (I think thats what its called) and was able to order the part and replace it the next day. Don was so friendly and stayed in close contact with me the entire time and the service was very reasonably priced and completed within a few hours! I can’t recommend Don and Banker Automotive enough. Vehicle trouble is stressful, but he made the entire experience so much easier. He was kind, respectful, honest, and took the time to explain everything without ever making me feel pressured. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can genuinely trust, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. If you’re looking for someone who cares about their customers and stands behind their work, this is the place to go.

Don Banker of Banker Automotive in South Austin, TX has got to be one of the most forthright and honest mechanics I've ever dealt with. I appreciate the way he broke things down for me so that as a not-really-a-car-kinda-guy, even I could understand. He didn't even charge me for his time to diagnose my vehicle. I will be back and I will be telling everyone who will listen that Don is the most KNOWLEDGEABLE & TRUSTWORTHY mechanic in Austin!
