I want to give the highest review for this branch. When I came in a few weeks ago after losing my wallet in the neighborhood, they swiftly helped me secure my account and were able to reissue me a new card on site. As anyone who has lost all their belongings might relate, I was frantic when I arrived 10 minutes prior to closing. They didn't push me out or downplay my concern, but gave the highest confidence and assurance that they would help. That is banking with humans at the center of service and is a rare find.
THE WORST BANK EVER. This branch NEVER answers the phone, the back-office operation is hopelessly inadequate and dysfunctional, online banking is a joke. I never thought anything could exceed the pathetic customer service of Bank of the West, which BMO purchased, but through great diligence, they have succeeded. Moving soon to a real bank.
I had a check for money that was owed from a previous account. I verified the check before I arrived. The check was only $32 they took 20 minutes to verify it at the bank then after that the told me it was going to be $10 to cash the check. I was so pissed. Then they had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to open up a checking account with them. I said absolutely not it took 20 minutes to verify a $32 check do you really think I would let you handle my work check?!
Some of the best buskers use the bank as their anchor to play great music to the passers by; This nondescript bank is the one to rob before shopping at the very expensive Luke’s Local located opposite the bank ; their ATM dispenses Monopoly money! Therefore , unlike Silicon Valley Bank, BMO bank will never go bankrupt; it’s a toy of a bank!
