I am writing to express extreme disappointment and serious concern regarding the behavior of a manager at this BMO Bank branch on Saturday morning, around 10:30am. My recent experience highlighted an unacceptable lack of professionalism and customer respect that warrants immediate attention. Today 8-11-25 I Tried to make a purchase online my card kept declining. Called customer service he told me to go to a branch with my debt card. To see what was the problem he couldn't give me details over the phone. So I went down there to talk to Rep she told me my bank account closed because the paperwork did not reach the back office for a signature. 05/22/2025 - I withdrew funds and closed my bank account because the representative refused to print me a debit card. She said I had to verify my identity/address and the only way to do that was by having a debit card mailed out to me. They had verified my identity/address twice before. Worst customer service! I went into the office to apply for a business credit card, which could not be completed online, and I never received confirmation from anyone at this branch. I would avoid BMO for your personal or business accounts.
