Please do not waste your time with this bank. The $400 bonus they advertise is completely misleading and feels like a scam. I followed all the required steps exactly as instructed, met every condition, and still never received the bonus. After spending time contacting customer support and providing all the necessary information, I was finally told that I would not be receiving the bonus at all. Accused of committing a crime (FRAUD) because I was withdrawing my money from their bank. They closed my account and kept my balance at the time my account was closed. Each time I called or went to the bank i was given a different lie about my money, including They return the money to IRS. MY Balance was a fraction of my refund. My recent experience with Michael Yuan at BMO was disappointing and unprofessional. From the outset, his demeanor came across as dismissive and impatient.
