I have banked with BMO for decades. I have generally found the staff helpful and accommodating. Taylor at this branch was completely unwilling to even listen to the issue and certainly would not try to help me.
I don’t recommend BMO bank. We have been with them for just over a year now and we continue to run into problems. They have long hold time on checks you deposit. Bank said it a federal requirement. I don’t remember having a long hold on checks at my last bank. But BMO is Canada based so they might have different rules. This is my final straw- BMO has double charged transactions on the weekend and it takes them a while to fix. Save yourself the trouble and bank someplace else, this bank is just a total headache, One thing after another. There has to be better options.
