Notice: this bank never called me back, so I had to deal with another facility. My post still applies: IF YOU EVER DO ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE RIGHT, DO NOT BANK WITH BANK OF THE WEST. PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. I just got off the phone with the branch manager (KAREN BURRIS) at this location who explained to me you are only allowed one reversal overdraft fee per year. HOWEVER, if you use Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, etc. this bank just uses its own authority to overlook that and still charge you an overdraft fee. So let's say you m... read more
