Eventually things get done. But it’s just slower than any other branch I’ve been to.Â
The receptionist was very kind, but the banker who was trying to exchange my Korean won to dollars took a long time and he told me he could not do it since I had just opened the bank account. I do not understand why especially when another banker just opened my bank account and took me to that banker to exchange the currency and deposit the money. Lastly, I opened a savings and checking account on August 14th. The banker told me my checking account would be opened tomorrow which was yesterday, but it is still not opened yet.Â
BoA Dupont Circle...I am waiting more 30 mnt standing, only one person servicing. Bad service experience.Â
This branch really stepped up when I had a specific issue. I was on vacation in DC and needed to set up a business checking account in short order. LÃgia was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and troubleshot me through the setup process in spite of our fairly unique organizational structure. I hadn’t banked at BofA in quite a while but am very happy I chose to come back.Â
