I have a $33,000 check to pay off my auto loan from a private buyer. BOA will NOT accept the check because I only owe $15,200 dollars left on the loan and the check needs to be for that exact amount. SINCE WHEN?! This is “due to a recent change in policy”. EXPLAIN THAT TO ME? These corporate banks are a joke. I’ll never finance with them again. Hope everyone does their research when financing. I will tell everyone I know about this policy.
