tl;dr Bank of America misquoted their policy and decided that not helping me was more important than trying to find a solution. I had been out of the country for about 9 months. The State of Massachusetts had issued me a check on March 14th. I arrived back in America on Nov 8th and wanted to deposit my check which had been larger than what mobile banking had allowed.
