Went in to deposit an international bank draft (euros), was told they only accept Canadian bank drafts, I was then told my bank draft wasn’t a copy and not a real check which was completely untrue. I rang Boa customer service and they said they had never heard of not accepting international bank drafts so I went to Newton center and they deposited it for me no problem. My only conclusion is this financial center is lazy and don’t know what they’re talking about
Horrible service. Long lines. Only one trainee teller works. “…we are a little understaffed at the moment…”. This moment lasts for at least a year, maybe two. The only reason it is “understaffed” is because the bank is too greedy to pay even a minimal salary to its teller but rather has BOA customers to wait in long lines.
The bank manager, Inara, receives every customer with a smile, and she welcomed many of them by name. I had to complete my account opening process and Inara and Ismael went above and beyond to ensure the onboarding process was complete, even though it meant they had to stay back longer then their usual hours to do that. They were patient, kind and enthusiastic! I highly recommend this branch. I'd go an extra mile to transact there for the exceptional customer experience.
No sense of regards for people’s finances. They leave you in the waiting area and keep coming back in and out asking questions instead of having one sit down in the offices to discuss financial needs.
