Don’t expect anyone to answer the phone or know anything about banking laws. If you come to deposit, withdraw, cash a check then you might be ok. You would think the door greeter could answer the phone. Then there’s the 800 number that refuses to let you talk to a real person to complain. Seriously thinking of closing all of our accounts.
20 years ago BoA hit me with overdrafts because my paycheck was deposited at 3pm and would not 'go in' until the following business day, meanwhile debits could continue to accrue over the weekend and I had several over draft fees, none of which were refunded and half my paycheck was gone. From that day until a week ago the few interactions I have had with BoA were very extremely hostile and negative. This is not just about this branch, but the Bank of America brand overall. If you have a valid complaint, file with the office of the currency comptroller. I just did. They performed a right to offset on a bank account that I am own with three of my siblings. One of my sisters had a business card account that we were not aware of and that she defaulted on the account.
