Very disappointing experience this afternoon at Banh Mi House at King square. I placed my order about 20 minutes before pickup, but when I arrived, they hadn’t even started. I waited another 5–10 minutes before they began making the first of my three sandwiches. What concerned me most was the food handling. The employee used the same gloved hand to handle cash and coins, then only rinsed his hand with water—no soap—before preparing food. Decent tasting Banh Mi sandwiches although slightly on the pricey side. We ordered a crispy pork belly sandwich and all of it was prepared fresh with actual crispy pork belly and the usual assortment of fillings. The added pate was a nice touch. The bun used was soft and flaky and added a nice contrast to the crispy meat. The medium was 11.29$ tax in which was a lot given the smaller portion size. It might be more value to get the larger size. Definitely one the better tasting Banh Mis around the GTA!

Forget about the food court. I just discovered the best banh mi I’ve ever had. Tastes like home. I got the pork belly Banh mi and fresh rolls. The shop is a little hard to find but it’s worth the extra steps. Pleasantly surprised and very impressed by this unassuming spot. I will be a regular customer here!

One of the best bánh mí in the GTA. The grilled rib eye bánh is tender and flavorful. There is no other like it. And the shrimp and pork spring rolls are easily the best spring rolls I've ever had.
