I recommend this place 100 percent. The staff and providers are very kind and understanding, non-judgemental and make you feel very comfortable regardless of why you are there. If you need a pap smear or need "downstairs issues" addressed, this is a great place to go. They also offer sliding fee scales if you are uninsured or if your insurance will not cover the entire visit.

this place should be called bangor family “un-planning”. the name is extremely misleading. i found out i was pregnant and i figured bangor family planning could help me. when i got there they said all they could do was test me for pregnancy, which i obviously already knew i was pregnant. they had me come in another day to do an ultrasound and the girl that did the ultrasound couldn’t even tell me anything about it. i also had asked her and the other girl i had, questions about my pregnancy and the only answer i really got wa... read more
Glad I didn’t have to have an exam. I had no idea what the doc was man or women maybe half and half.I never felt so uncomfortable in my life.
The world needs more providers like Priscilla Perry. Never once have I felt rushed, uncomfortable, or unheard. Priscilla always explains things in a way I need, helps me to advocate for myself, supports me when I need it, and is a joy to work with. On more than one occasion, I have had follow up exams referred out to third parties ,and Priscilla has called me personally and in an incredibly timely manner, to discuss the results with me.
