This is way overdue! I guess I have been wanting to go down the menu before putting in my review. I must say the first thing about the place is how cute it is. The reclaimed caboose is the perfect place for a warm dinner and the welcome that one gets from the hosts (fur and human) is endearing. Really wanted to like the food but it was overly salty. Could be a one off thing but for my first time I was disappointed.
We drove all the way from RI to NY City for a weekend getaway, and luckily we found this amazing Thai restaurant. The food was incredibly authentic, honestly even better than some of the Thai food we had in Thailand. We ordered the Duck Tamarind and the Shrimp Seafood Prawns, and both dishes were absolutely outstanding. Might be the best thai food ever had. Been to tons of thai restaurants all over new england and been to bkk and pattaya at least 15 times over last 30 year staying at least 2 to 3 weeks at a time. I eat thai street food often. I can say this place beats even the best food in thailand. Had the duck tarmarind and prawn seafood dish. Inside decor reminds me of the kings palace.
