The service is good; the first time I went, I paid $86 for my puppy's physical exam and initial vaccinations—they had a coupon for a free first exam. Today I took her back for the booster, and since it was just for vaccines, I thought I’d likely pay the same amount; to my surprise, I ended up paying nearly $130. Looking at the receipt, I saw they charged me $80.95 just for the office visit, plus $41 for the vaccine and another $7 for medical waste disposal. Took my sick dog in and they refused to see her....sent us to the vet ER. She only had a UTI.
If you love your dog don’t bring them to the banfield dental clinic (separate clinic from the actual banfield hospitals). We brought my dog in for a cleaning and she had a little trouble with her hips before but leaving she could barely walk and one of the techs told my husband that something went wrong with an injection but would get better in a few days. Really great service and staff at this Banfield Pet Hospital. It's known for being the go to hospital for dental procedures in the area, but they are a fully functioning pet hospital too. All the staff here, from the front desk, to the vet techs, to the vets who I've worked with over the past few weeks while my pup was healing after a tooth extraction have all been awesome and helpful!
