I have 2 dogs on Banfield health plans. I learned tonight that Banfield is a veterinary facility for giving vaccinations, but not caring for their “patients” in distress. My dog got something lodged in her throat. I don’t know the area well, but I know where Banfield is. We rushed her there, and when we arrived, she was obviously in distress. I just called them to get an estimate on testing a lump on my dog's ribs they wanted $120:00plus dollars to do the test results that was just way too expensive I was not impressed with them at all
Dr. Spotts and crew did a great job with Axel! Awesome exam and information.
The wellness plan that they basicly make you sign up for never expires...even though they sell it as a year membership!!! Never again will I go to a place that lies about something so little. Also they like to push there own personal views on how you should handle your animals! Never again! Don't get caught like I did!!! When you call to cancel they claim you choose the option to auto renew. Don't worry I keep my paper work

Our experience was horrible, and one that I would not want anyone else to experience. We are completely disappointed in the level of care that was provided. We felt that our pet's health and our concerns were disregarded. Our dog was extremely sick, and we were able to gain some peace of mind in her passing through our decision to go to a different veterinary hospital.
