Recently we took our two Chihuahuas to Banfield to update shots, general exam and a recent cough by the 10-year old male. The Vet (Ms Cruz) stated he had a heart murmur and enlarged heart. Instructions were to take him to a cardiologist for follow-up. She subscribed a medication and said refills would be called into Costco pharmacy. I decided to return to Banfield for a refill as Costco said nothing had been called in. While at Banfield the clerk spoke with Dr Cruz and said there were no refills. RecommendedThey have been very helpful, caring and nice to me and my little guy my Dachshund Pee Wee who is now paralyzed and going through tons of medical complications. I recommend them to everyone. Dr. R Lane and the staff treat us well.
Dr Addison and Dana were incredibly honest, caring and compassionate. Even though we didn't bring our Sadie home alive, they gave us time to say good-bye and grieve.
As I received the phone call this morning that Raylene's ashes were ready for pick up, I also received a card in the mail from Banfield Pet Hospital. I decided against opening the card until this evening. I assumed it was the obligatory 'we're sorry for your loss' with a few signatures. What I got was completely opposite from what I was expecting. Love their hours. Adopted a beagle from animal care and he got sick. Got appt next day. Loved the vet tech, but hubby couldn't understand a word she said. The vet was nice and friendly enough, but they like to push their products and I am not sure about her experience. But the hours are the best.
We love the staff at Banfield! We just recently had to put our cat Timmy down and they were so caring and understanding about giving us time for our kids to say goodbye! Also we love Dr. Dimassco and all she did to help us with Timmy during our short time with him.
