I give Dr Rainey 5 stars but unfortunately she was not In the office the day we had to bring our beloved 18 year old cat in to be euthanized. Working myself in the medical field for 20 years I understand a doctor needs to keep a level of detachment when it comes to difficult decisions or when having to perform euthanasia but the doctor we had that day was so robotic and unsympathetic. I’ve been taking my little dog, Fify, to Banfield since last year—first in Culver City, and now at the Costa Mesa location. Despite numerous visits, no one could figure out why Fify’s liver levels were elevated… until we were lucky enough to meet Dr. Rainey. From that day forward, everything changed.
