My dog's previous visit on Sunday, May 17 to Banfield Willow Grove ended up with a visit to the emergency room on Friday, May 22. A missed double ear infection at that Sunday appointment resulted in two side effects: a large, nasty hot spot on my dog's head by Tuesday of that week, and an ear hematoma from the head-shaking brought on by the ear infection discomfort. My dog Zelda started getting really sick. Throwing up, blood in her stool, red spots all over her belly and open sores on her neck and back. We called around to different vets and Banfield had the earliest opening. I once again explained how Zelda was and how to treat her. I didnt have high hopes but I wanted her check out as soon as possible. I was blow away with how awesome it was. After adopting 2 kittens we wound up at Banfield partially due to the extensive hours they have. We opted for a pet wellness plan which is nice to not get hit with a giant bill but a little every month. Everyone there is really nice and the doctors are always willing to answer any questions.
We love Banfield Willow Grove! The staff, the vet techs, the doctors-Everyone is terrific and goes above and beyond to care for pets and their families. I would recommend Banfield to anyone.
Dr.Donahue is very caring and saved my dogs life. A previous vet thought that my dog had a mass on his spleen it turned out to be an issues with his intestines. Dr.Donahue took the time to figure out what was going on with more x-rays, and bloodwork. All he needed was antibiotics, fluids, pain meds and a special diet and now he’s doing great. Back to his old self. I can’t thank Dr.Donahue and the staff at Banfield enough for being so caring.. And Chase thanks you as well :)
It’s a great place for quality pet care at affordable cost.. they explain and take their time with you especially when I’ve seen clients who know nothing about animals come in with questions and they answer them with time and care.... not ever pet hospital is perfect but I will say banfield cares about your pet and your pockets
