Just put our dog to sleep yesterday and while I had a wellness plan with Banfield I thought that this company is all about helping pets and pet owners. But when I called today to cancel my wellness plan I was told that I still have to pay my monthly balance for the rest of the year even though my pet is gone But I got a discount and I only have to pay 171$?? That is absolutely disgusting so be aware when you sign up want any plan with Banfield.I find this hard to believe but I don’t even know why am I surprised.
They take your dog in the back to do an exam. HARD NO! I don’t trust anyone but especially those who act like they have something to hide! who knows if a vet actually ever looked at the dog? Then some guy comes out from the back that barely seemed qualified to be a vet for a weird 2 min interaction. Majority of the time was spent waiting (the entire wellness visit took almost 2 hours even though they walked me right in to a room).
