I called today about getting a rabies shot for my dog, whom I have on a plan at banfield (I pay 50 dollars a month, and I'm a college students that's a lot of money to me, but my pupper is worth it). He was bit last night by a possum, the lady I called today said she would call me back, because since his rabies shot had expired last month, they would have to quarantine him, that was at 12pm. I waited until 4, and they never did call me back. I called 3 more times and no one picked up. I will be finding a new vets office.
Waited 45 mins and walked out what's the point of a appointment when I'm just sitting there. You weren't busy enough to make anyone wait. Waste of time, and it won't EVER be a waste of my money. ISO a decent vet that owns a watch!!!
I regret utilizing their services and have come to realize they are dishonest and not to be trusted. When I first signed up, I was lead to believe it would be a positive experience with experts who would care for our family pet with honesty in practice and provision of services. In the end, I have never been so disappointed in a company in life. Not a good experience. Would not recommend. The front office staff wasn't helpful or honest.
Banfield is a complete crock! Took my dog in for a swollen mass on his neck. They told me it was a salavatory gland and gave him toothpaste. Fast forward a few months and took him to another vet to only find out it was his LYMPH NODE that was swelling. Now that I actually finished school and am working at a vet I had our doc look for another opinion and the node is definitely swollen and so it the one below. Our doc actually is doing somthing about it and took samples out of the node and sent them off to check for CANCER!
Vet is competent but they don't offer the least expensive and invasive treatments when they could.They are looking to make more money.I'm glad I got a second opinion.
