On Oct. 11, I took my 17 year old dog (Abby) to Banfield in Peachtree City because she hadn't eaten in 3 days. After running some tests she was diagnosed with kidney failure. I discussed the results with the doctor and the decision was made due to her age and general health to put her down. Everyone there was very sympathetic. Today I received a sympathy card signed by the entire staff along with paw prints and her scarf that was wearing at the time. I really felt that everyone there cared.
Literally go anywhere else. I have the wellness plan on the dogs or I would have already (u basically prepay for stuff so you are stuck unless u want to lose your money) the manager is the rudest person I have ever met. They claimed the lab lost my dogs tumor but found it in their fridge 2 weeks later. I call ahead and ask for a morning appointment, schedule it 2 weeks out, and a week later get a call saying "sorry, have to reschedule". Our senior rescue chihuahua has been on a plan for several years now (started in ohio and moved back to PTC) our newest rescue Blitz is only year. Added him to a plan and got his shots and neutered. Staff and doctor did great. Very happy with their care and attention. Always appreciate the day after visit follow up call.
I'm gonna give 4 stars only because they weren't very informative when I brought my little rescue kittens in. They could have at least cleaned the diarrhea off my kittens behinds before putting them back in their crate. I know if it was me I would have cleaned them up best I could. They were great on working within price ranges for me. They did not tell me if there was going to be any side effects from the medicine they prescribed my little ones.
