we have the pet insurance and was reasonably please. my dog has a cronic cough, he has had multiple x rays, been treated for phneumonia and lungworm. Dr. not familiar with lungworm but took advise from the person who read the x-ray, I didn't get to see the x rays myself. my pet still has a cronic cough and after myself doing reading have left messages asking about further treatment as in other countries following treatment for worms pet is treated with cortasteroid, it's been 4 days and the staff keeps telling me the DR is n... read more

My post was removed so I will repost again. I hold Banfield responsible for the death of my Kico. On October 30th my beloved dog died, after multiple visits to Banfield on Ventura Dr. I was repeatedly assured Kico wasn't under any stress. Our last visit was on October 28th and again, I was informed Kico wasn't in any immediate danger. Two days later Kico was dead. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED....THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE RUN INTO THIS PROBLEM. YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK AT THE REVIEWS....MY DOG DIED IN MY DAUGHTER'S ARMS WHILE SHE, MY DAUGHTER, WAS FIGHTING CANCER. AFTER YEARS OF TREATMENT HE WAS MISDIAGNOSED BY BANFIELD. MANY UNNECESSARY TESTS TO NO AVAIL. PET SMART DEMANDED THAT I STILL PAY FOR THE REMAINING 7 MONTHS ON MY "WELL-CARE" PLAN. WHEN I DIDN'T THEY RUINED MY CREDIT! I HOPE THIS NEVER HAPPENS TO YOU!
WORST PLACE EVER! Would help if the doctors could speak some clear english. Had no idea about my dogs past history, and had no intention of even reviewing the file while my dog was there. My dog sat in the back cage for almost 5 hours and all they could tell me was "she's fine, just a bit shaky, maybe you should just buy her a coat because I think she's just cold". Wanted to say a big thank you to the vet and staff that was there this morning. I don't know how I will ever thank you for waiting for me to drive down to see our family dog one last time. Yall made such a hard process not so hard. Yall gave us space when we needed and we're there when we needed you. So again Thank you for everything you did for me and my family. Cooper will be missed but I am so glad he went as happy as he was this morning. Yall will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you!!!
