Their staff is terrible and it no longer is tolerable for the sake of the vets. During a recent visit, the receptionist touched my dog on her injured ear after I specifically told her the dog was very sensitive there. Then when my dog snapped her hand, Banfield never discussed it with me and called animal control on my dog. When discussed with the manager after receiving the phone call, the manager was only concerned with the comment made by the receptionist. I very rarely post anything on Facebook, but I feel it is necessary to voice my opinion about Banfield Pet Hospital in Sanford. I'd like to deter anyone else from taking their pets there if at all possible. It is more than worth the drive to the S.Pines office. I have taken my pets to Banfield (formally known as Yadkin Park) for over 25 plus years and I absolutely adore the entire staff there, they care about your pets and you as a pet owner. Very convenient! My pets and i love Dr. Diem that's at Sanford Banfield! I've definitely saved alot of money having my dogs on a plan here! Highly recommended!
If you live in Sanford and taking your pet to Banfield at PetSmart I highly suggest that you find another vet. We’ve been having problems with Little Bit we took her there and they didn’t do anything. We had to take her to a emergency vet in Cary, they gave her some meds and recommended to take her to our vet and ask for blood work to check for  Addison’s disease. I called Banfield to get a estimate was told that I should just go back to the vet in Cary because it would cost the same and would not tell me a price. Tonight w... read more
