My dog died and I’m still responsible for the bill for the entire year and that sucks
My experience here has made me decide not to renew my Banfield wellness plan. This was an absolute waste of my time. I understood it was a drop off appointment and all other drop off have been very clear about pick up times. I was told my dog would be ready at 12-1 at the latest as she was there at 8am. When I checked-in at 1 they hadn't even looked at my dog and could give no timeline as to when she would be seen. Following the unfortunate loss of my dog under their care, I am extremely dissatisfied with Banfield's services. Despite my dog's passing seven months ago, I continue to pay monthly dues. Furthermore, I believe a more proactive approach from their veterinary staff could have prevented this tragedy. Subsequently, my other dog received inadequate care for a pre-existing condition, necessitating two costly emergency visits to hospital before appropriate treatment was finally administered elsewhere.
