horrible customer service, their pet plans are a scam, you cannot even cancel even if your pet is deceased or you can no longer keep the animal. the plans are not transferable should you decide to get a different pet of the same species.

My dog as been with Banfield for just about a year now getting treated for heartworm. She had the same vet that we absolutely loved every visit until the last time we went in. Come to find out our vet had left and no one had decided to let us know, and no one acted like they knew what was going on. Fast forward to today, I had picked up records for my dog to make a file at home. Seven years ago, my cat Pitsu had a horrible UTI and almost died. Banfield went above and beyond to save him. They got him on an insurance plan that helped with the costs. He had to be on IV fluids constantly, and they were willing to stay late to make sure my husband and I were able to pick him up. My cat ever since then has hated the vet and has been absolutely nasty to them, but they still see him and they have been nothing but understanding. I am forever grateful to them. For the past 14 years we've been taking our dogs to Banfield Pet Hospital in Burnsville, for 9 of those years Dr. Steiber has been caring for each and every one of our dogs. Sir Henry, Charlie, Buddy, Pesto, Bolt and now Sparky. I can't say enough about this vet clinic. They have caring for Henry since he was only 4 months old, he turned 14 years old in June. I am so frustrated that Banfield does not value our fur babies as much as we do. We entrust a vet to make decisions for our cats healthcare that benefit him and give him the best quality of life possible. Every time I call, whether it is for a refill or a dosing question, they tell me that MY vet is not working today and I would have to wait. My cat has been crying all night and all day in pain from arthritis in his feet and hip. I am so angry that I have to start over with a new vet and my cat's health has to suffer because... read more

Do not.. I repeat.. do not sign up for their wellness plan. It's a scam. It's not pet insurance, it's actual financing for services with inflated prices.

Waited 20 minutes for meds to find out it was out of stock. They knew 8 hrs earlier that I was coming in to pick it up. Meds won't be in till Tuesday. So frustrating.
