I went in for refills for meds I have been on for years and he immediately starts trying to change them. Doesn't listen, hard to understand, and doesn't read what's in front of him that explaning my meds and diagnosis.
Great Doctor, listens carefully to the patient, develops a great medical treatment plan that has resulted in immediate improvement of the patients condition, , prospects for long term return to normal, everyday life are great thanks to plan and treatment of Dr. Bandukwala. Highly recommend this Doctor.

Came in for first visit already on a working combination of medications, just needed someone to prescribe them. Insisted I wasn't abused because it wasn't physical, that I need to lose weight to be happier, and continually tries to take me off either one of my mood stabilizers or my sleep medication because they're "in the same category" (atypical) despite my knowledge from A YEAR OF BEING ON THEM that I need both because they do different things for me. Dr. Bandukwala is the best physician and psychiatrist in Rome. He treated me for bipolar disorder. I went through some bad times before I met him. He is honest and tells you like it is. I would recommend him to anyone suffering from my disorder. He helped me overcome 2 hospitalizations. He gives helpful life affirming advice and I trust him implicitly. When I was in the hospital with a liver abscess, he came to visit me in the hospital and that touched me deeply. He is a good guy.
Dr Bandukwala is compassionate, observant, and highly intelligent. He has helped me move forward in life from a traumatic event. I appreciate all he has done for me.
