Horrible experience, they tried to refuse a walk in the first day to deposit a large sum of money. That day we had to fight for an account , the didn’t open it that day and made me come back the next day to bring the check that they refused to take the first day. When I arrived with my check the lady at the branch told me the manager was not in and my account had not been open and I needed to sign paperwork but I could leave my check and they would email me documents. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Theresa Aguilar at the Banc of California Woodland Hills branch. During one of the most challenging times in my life, Theresa proved to be an absolute godsend. $10.00 fee to cash a check because I'm not a member. Since a class action suit check.... Extra approval needed to cash a check.... Waiting.......... Also have to pay for parking here and walk over to the building. Then suit to get to the bank. Their person to validate the checks is not picking up the line. Zara Avanes / teller has called multiple times. Avoid this bank!!

Banc of California might be a small bank, but it is a great bank. They are a big small bank. Everyone is so friendly and polite every time. They take it back to the good old days of banking where they focus on customer relationships and not just selling you a product or service.
