By far the best sushi place I have ever been to. At one point RA Sushi was my favorite but since the first week Banbu came to town, I have not been able to go a week without it. When you walk in , the place speaks for itself. I mean a rock fire pit, green plants, water fountains, and exquisite paintings is what you can expect! It's probably the nicest restaurant La Mesa has to offer.
Good sushi, great vibe – I enjoy Banbu. Living out in East County, not a whole lot of good sushi, except for Banbu. It's really fresh, and the prices are good. But the best part is the ambiance! Definitely does not feel like we're in La Mesa eating sushi!
I love this place – If you're in East County, you're in luck...They have sushi! They have really good sushi. Honestly, if this place was in downtown San Diego, they would easily be able to at 30% more to their prices. These guys offer great food at reasonable prices, and some GREAT hot sauce. If you're like me and like it spicy, ask one of the sushi chefs to make it hot (habanero hot!). I wont list all the yummy sushi rolls you can order here, because the options are endless. Try this place, you will love it.
