looks can be deceiving It doesn't look like much, outside or in for that matter. But we have never had a meal here that wasn't good. We usually end of having the buffet--because at least one item we were thinking of is on it. They are reasonably priced--and you don't leave hungry.
Fantastic We have been going to the Bamboo House for 25 years. Never have been disappointed. Quality and quantity of food is great. The people who work there are wonderful. They know us so well they can almost predict what we will order. I highly recommend them.
The atmosphere is outdated. The service is sometimes iffy. The food is some of the best in the Milwaukee area. I don't mind the décor and I will tolerate the service because the food is that good. I have been coming here for over 20 years and there is like, one other Chinese restaurant in the Milwaukee area that compares food-wise. And I have been to China, and I have been to San Francisco. I think I know Chinese food pretty well.
if you cannot decide what to get, try the buffet good food for the value
Don't bother with the buffet. Order off the menu. Start with a plate of appatizers for two. The Imperial Lo Mein is to die for. I've been going there for over twenty years. I bring my own chopsticks
